Finally

After a super long month...Tenley Grace Harward is finally here. She was born on Friday Nov 26th. She weighed 5lbs 14 oz. It was my hardest pregnancy and my easiest labor. It was only about 2 hours total. I pushed 3 times. (about 5 minutes) It was awesome. The only downside to it was that it was so fast that I got my epidural right before so it had not really kicked in. I had thought about trying to do it natural so I guess I got my wish and I would never think of doing it natural again. Thank goodness for drugs.
We are so happy that she is here and is a part of our family. After such a big gap between kids I am totally enjoying this little sweetie. She is so so so fun!

More time...hopefully

Things are going good at my house. I am still the same. I am now 36 weeks.
I am hoping to make it another couple of weeks. Here is why...

First: At the end I start to get a little nervous of what is to come. I am so ready to not be pregnant but I am going to have a huge adjustment having a baby around again.

Second: My husband still has football. Lone Peak is doing so good. They play this Thursday up at the U of U stadium and if they win that game then they will play in the State Championship Game the week after. It is so so exciting and would be so fun if they make it to the Championship game. But it is keeping him busy and with all these tests and going to the hospital Jared has not been able to go with me at all. It would just be easier if I had the baby after the season is over. As long as they don't start me on a Thurs or Friday we should be ok though.

Third: I want my baby to get as big as she can. I always have little ones. Any weight that she can gain is good.

and finally Fourth: I would love to make it past Thanksgiving. We go to Jared's mom's house this year and there are always a million little kids. It would be hard to go with a newborn. I would probably be a nervous wreck the whole time.

So I am still pregnant and still trying to take is easy but it is getting really old. I have to remember that it is all worth it in the end.

Oh and Payton is in a fashion show on Wednesday night up in Salt Lake and she is so excited. I would be sad if I could not go with her. I will post pictures after. SOOOOOOO Cute!

Update

I am at home. I have to go to the hospital twice a week for a non-stress test and then my doctor appointments once a week. I am supposed to be taking is easy. On top of it all I am having contractions. It should make for a fun couple of weeks. Ha Ha!
But the good news is that my baby looks good. She is 5lbs 2oz (which is a good size baby for me). My biggest is Jaxson who was 6lbs then Ike was 4lbs and Payton was 5lb something. I am now 35 weeks along. So hopefully she can get a little bigger. I would love a bigger baby.

Hospital

Yesterday I had to go to the hospital for a non-stress test. From that test they found out that my blood pressure is high. So I had to go do some more blood work and tests and I have had to do a 24 hour urine test. Has anyone done this? At least they let me bring it home to do cause they were going to make me stay in the hospital over night to do it. I have had to save my urine since last night so I can take it back into the lab so they can test it. YUCK! I made Jared put a cooler in my bathroom with ice in it cause there was no way I was going to put it in my fridge.
I have to go back to the hospital tomorrow for another non-stress test and for a sonogram and to go over all the results of the tests that they did. They are testing me for pre-eclampsia.
I have never had high blood pressure before and can not believe how miserable it makes you feel. I hope that it does not last too long.
I will post more after tomorrow and know more.
I do not like to stay in the hospital so I am hoping that I do not have to stay there.

Am I done yet?

Today is one of those days that I want to not be pregnant anymore. Only a little longer. (but not soon enough)

My month in a quick glance

Do you ever look at the small things in life and feel very grateful for them? My husband has had a little bit of a rough month. A couple of weeks ago he got in a car accident and totalled our Tahoe. Luckily it was not his fault and no one was hurt, but after seeing the car he is lucky that he was not hurt. A girl hit him on his drivers side door and it pushed him head first into a big light pole. He usually is not driving the Tahoe. He drives the Audi to and from work and we just happened to switch cars that day because I had to go to Spanish Fork. I think that if he had been in the littler car it could have been much worse. Very grateful we switched cars that day.

Then last week Jared had surgery on his shoulder to fix a football injury he got back in April. Jared does not wake up well from surgery. He was the same way with his knee surgery. He is very sick after and they have a hard time getting him to wake back up. So we were at the hospital from 7:30am to 7:00pm that night. LONG DAY!!!!!!

Since then he has been home and I totally adore him but I can not wait for him to be better and go back to work. HA HA! It is his right arm and it is hard for him to do a lot of things. It is like having a really big 4th kid.
So I am officially 7 months and counting. I am sooooo ready to be done. I am still looking for cute girl names if you anyone has any fun ideas.

It has been a really busy month. I have everyone of my kids in sports right now. Payton is on a cute little soccer team. They are so darling. Jaxson is playing tackle football and is having so much fun. I am surprised how much he likes it. He loves his team and his coach. Izak is playing on a super league baseball team down in Spanish Fork. (don't know what I was thinking cause it is so far to get him to practices and games) But he is loving it too. He thinks he is such a major leaguer. And Izak should be starting flag football soon. I love watching my kids play sports...honestly there is nothing else that I would rather be doing.

In between all of that Jared is still in the middle of coaching at Lone Peak High School. He is having fun there and loves the boys. It takes a lot of time but he loves it. I have a small understanding of what a single mom must go through and do not know how they do it.

Sports Widow

My husband has kept everything he ever had from playing football. So when Jaxson needed a jersey to wear over his pads for practices, Jared was more than thrilled to bring out his old Colts jersey from his little league days. I adore how much Jared loves this sport. He did not want Jaxson to play until 7th grade but you should see how excited he gets about it. I hope that Jaxson learns to love the sport just like his Dad!

So I know that I am not the only wife who becomes a widow at this time of the year...Football Season has officially started and I can not remember what my husband looks like already. Ha Ha! I said sports widow because it is not just limited to football at my house. Every season there is something going on and some sport that Jared is playing and coaching. In July baseball finally ended where Jared was coaching both my boys teams. So he would end up either having practice or a game every day of the week. Thank goodness we live in Utah and at least had Sundays off. During the baseball season is also when Jared's semi-pro football team plays. Which is good for him because he coaches high school football in the fall. Then this year Jaxson is playing tackle football and Jared is also trying to help coach his team. Like today, he had high school practice this morning before work, then straight from work he is going to Jaxson's practice, then from Jaxson's practice he is going back to the high school for another practice. (That is also with him missing one of the high school practices in the middle of the day today). Poor Jared. I am sure that he is worn out. But he loves it. And I am probably just complaining because today is one of those fun pregnant days that I don't feel very good.
