Summer

Eagle Mountain put on a Rodeo this year and Jared helped build the rodeo grounds and then they got to work at the rodeo...he had so much fun! He loved it. Funny fact is that Jared's dream has always been to be a rodeo clown (seriously). He didn't get to be the clown but he loved it. The boys got to do Muttin bustin and the calf chase.

Ike did break dancing in the talent show at school.

Jaxsons scout hike to Stewart Falls

Jaxson and his friend JB at the rodeo...ya they are the same age. JB is so tall.

I am so glad that it is finally summer. I love the first part of summer. No schedule...no homework...everyone is home. It has been a really crazy busy month. With the end of school and all the programs and baseball and then trying to work somewhere between everything, I was so ready to have a little down time. Jaxson finally got his cast off so next week the plan is to play at the pool every day. YEAH!

For those of you that don't know yet...I am pregnant. I am trying to enjoy it but there is not much about pregnancy that I like. I am already counting down until I am done. I have a long way to go. But between being so tired and everything that has been going on I am thinking that I am too old for this. Good thing that I know this is my last time. I am getting close to about 4 months along so hopefully it goes by pretty fast.

So I have 2 boys and one girl already and am playing with the idea of not finding out what I am having...What do you think?

Boys vs Girls

So over the weekend I came to the conclusion that I feel like I am a much better boy mom than a girl mom. Don't get me wrong...I love dresses and makeup and girly stuff but I would so rather go sit at a baseball game than go to a dance recital.

Payton had her dance recital on Saturday night. So the day started off with a rehersal at 8am. For those of you that know me well, you know I am not a morning person. I had to get a sub for my cycling class to take her. (I missed a much needed workout, with how fast I am gaining weight and all I am eating I really needed to burn some calories)

The rehersal was quick and I ran to Ike's baseball game. (which was warm and so fun)

She is so cute and I absolutely adore watching her do anything. Her class did a really good job. She was about 4th in line to dance and we had already been there for about an hour by the time she danced and there were 28 classes total. It was going to go on all night. So when she was done I grabbed her and we went and got ice cream and then we were off to go to Jared's football game.

It reminded me of one time when me and Jared were fist dating. It was Valentine's Day and his friend and him were trying to do something super special for their girlfriends so they bought tickets to the ballet in SLC as a surprise. Obviously you can tell that he didn't know me very well yet. It was the longest night ever. I think that he was relieved that it wasn't my thing.

But doesn't Payton look so cute in her costume?

Daughtry

On Thursday night we went to the Daughtry concert with some friends. It was so fun! I totally have crush on Chris Daughtry...I love him. Lifehouse opened for them and were so good too.
After we were at the concert I noticed that there were a few kids there and I should have taken Jaxson with us...he would have loved it. I forget that he is getting old enough to do some of those kind of things now. It was a pretty clean concert too...some I would not ever want to take him to(like Metallica which is one that he wants to go to). We had a blast! Thanks Brinkerhoff's for the fun night!

To big of a gap?

So my little girl turned 5. I can not believe my baby is 5. So here is my question...is 6 years to big of a gap between babies? And do I really want to go back to diapers and up all night?

The Dentist

I just had to tell this cute story. My little Payton is so funny. We had to go to the dentist this week to get 4 cavities filled. (her and Jaxson have bad teeth...no matter how much we brush every time we go to the dentist they have a cavity. Izak still has never had any.) Poor Payton has never had one before either and I was worried about how she would do. We did all the typical bribing tactics before we got there so I was hoping for the best. They put the laughing gas on her and within a couple of minutes she was giggly. The dentist came in to do the shots (the part that I was worried about) They had to do shots on both sides of her mouth. So the first one the dentist tries to warn her that it will pinch and then he rubbed some numbing cream on it to get it ready. Here it comes...when he gave her the shot guess what Payton did? She giggled. Then the second shot...another giggle. Guess this was not going to be so bad after all....I should not have promised her so many toys. Ha Ha! She sat still and acted so big and Strong. I was amazed cause I hate the dentist. When she was done and we were walking out she said "mom that was fun! I want to be a dentist when I grow up". What a cute little girl. I am so lucky. I have great kids!

Happy Anniversary!

Today is my 10 year wedding anniversary! I can not believe that it has been that long. 10 years ago today I married the man of my dreams and every year since then he has been proving to be an incredible person and father and husband. When I don't think that I could love him anymore he does something that amazes me and I do love him more every day that we are together. I am very happy that he is a part of my life and that I share my family and life with him. I respect him and cherish our relationship dearly. I love you so much Jared. Thanks for 10 wonderful years and I look forward to 10 (etc) more incredible years with you. Happy Anniversary!

Miss Eagle Mountain

When we got home from ST George I got to Judge the Miss Eagle Mountain Pageant. It was really fun! It took all day...from about 1-9pm and seemed like a long day when I got home. The girls were all really cute and fun and it was hard to pick. I am very impressed that they can get up on stage and do that. I would have probably been so embarrassed to do that at that age.
